Naomi (not her real name), is the mother of 4 children. Her husband an alcoholic, mistreated her and then abandoned her and the children two years ago.

She tries to support family by cleaning offices at night. She gets minimal subsidy from Social Welfare services for rent. Naomi has lost many of her teeth and cannot eat properly. She is in constant pain in her mouth. She is still young 37 and yet her job prospects are bleak with her appearance.

What Naomi needs most is a reason to smile. Israel does not provide free dental services and the poor and desperate such as Naomi have no one to turn to. Naomi needs 6 implants plus crowns and bridges.

The dental work will be performed at our dental center at a subsidized cost below the market value for this procedure. The Jerusalem Health and Community Services Center was founded in 1983 to provide free and subsidized medical services to the poor and needy. The Center accepts referrals from the Jerusalem Social Services department and all of its services and finances are overseen by both the Israel Ministry of Health and the body governing registered non-profit organizations. Give with confidence knowing that your donation will have tremendous impact on the life of Naomi for years to come.

Thank you.

What Naomi needs most is a reason to smile. Israel does not provide free dental services and the poor and desperate such as Naomi have no one to turn to. Without your support Naomi and others like her will not have the money to get these services.
